arrival!
Hello from Moldova.
We just enjoyed a good meal at Jake and Marie Penner's place in Muldova, what a treat to be able to sit down and enjoy food without going broke!
We were travelling for almost 30 hours, 3 hours in Calgary, 9 hour flight, 9 hours in Frankfurt, and then I finally managed to sleep on the 3 hour flight into Moldova for about 2 hours or so, but that is all I have had so far. Get to sleep in tonight though. I am pretty sure we are 9 hours, so you should all be sound asleep right now, it would be 6 am back home as it is almost 9 pm here. Only sick sick people get up before 6 am... just kiddin
I have only been here for 3 hours, but I get the feeling that I am going to like it here. The Frankfurt airport was alright, everything was rediculous expensive and consumerist and fast paced and kinda dreary. This place feels way more real, Jake and Marie are just wonderful, I am going to be a better person from being around them these next 2 weeks! Same goes for the rest of the team here. I can here the local Moldovans playing whatever it is they are playing or saying or doing out in the street through the window, and I like it. Jake says that though its the poorest country in Europe, the people here are wonderful. While typing this I have had a great talk with Serghey who is doing some maintenance on the desk I am writing this from. If everyone else here is like him I shall be throroughly blessed here and have many many friends. Leaving just might suck.
Thanks for your prayers, be blessed and be a blessing!
Kaleb
